Tips For Juicing Your Way To Great Health!

You can just drink veggie juice if you are suffering from diabetes or high blood sugar levels; however, you should discuss this with your doctor to get specific instructions. The sugar levels in your blood can rapidly increase by sugars from fruit. Keep track of what goes into your juices to make sure you are not exceeding your daily nutritional needs. Vegetables can give you all the nutrients that fruit does, without the risk.

Juicing creates a lovely beverage, but it also creates a lot of pulp. The amount will vary, depending on your choice of vegetables and fruits. You can put it back into later batches of juice in order to boost their fiber content.

A shot of ginger can add a piquant kick to your homemade juice. Ginger has a nice, unusual flavor and can help to cover up some of the more unpleasant juice tastes. Research has also shown ginger to be a great way to lower your blood pressure, among other heart health benefits.

If you are preparing a drink of dark, leafy greens, be sure to add some cucumber. A lot of leafy greens have a strong flavor. Cucumber will mask the unpleasant taste and add refreshing flavor of its own. It also contains many essential nutrients, especially when the skin of the cucumber is left intact.

Buy a masticating juicer. This type of juicer is gentle on the ingredients, leading to a juice which contains all the nutrients it possibly can. This type of juice from a masticating juicer stores easily and is more stable.

Do a little bit of research on the nutritional value of fresh produce before you begin juicing. There are big differences in minerals and vitamins, along with the wide amount of produce that you can get. Use vegetables and fruits that give you an assortment of your daily needs. Blending different types of produce ensures that you’re receiving a wide range of vital vitamins and nutrients. As an added bonus, you get to play around with various flavor combinations.

Cucumber juice helps skin and hair health. Large quantities of silica are contained in Cucumbers. In addition, silica is beneficial for bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments and increases the strength of connective tissue.

Remember the concept of “negative calories” when you are juicing for weight loss. Try to combine produce in your juice that takes more calories to burn than are consumed in the juice itself. Some of these items are broccoli, herbs, cabbage and kale. Fruits that have a high fiber content are also great choices, as they use additional body resources, while digesting, to properly break them down.

If you are going to juice produce, try including small amounts of fresh vegetables or fruits that normally would not appeal to you. Mix these with other ingredients that can mask their flavor. You should do this, so you get all of the nutrients you need. If the overall flavor of your juice blend is less than palatable, you can use juice from apples and lemons to mask the taste.

When you are making your own juice, it is important to recognize that all fruits are different. Some fruits, such as a citrus varieties, require special equipment to efficiently extract the juice. When preparing the juice of melons, watch what you mix them with because they are incompatible with many other fruits.

Drinking juices rich in fiber can ward off constipation. The juice of vegetables and fruits will also help cleanse your digestive system. If you have chronic problems with constipation, try drinking juice daily to keep things running smoothly!

As you now know, it is quite possible to be an expert at juicing. The tips from this article will help you to get everything you want out of your new juicing lifestyle. Once you start using this great advice you will see and feel the difference in your overall health.

How to Make Blueberry and Other Fruit Juice Easily Using a Steam Juicer

Introduction

Making your own blueberry and other juice is easy using a steamer juicer. Juices can be made from fresh or frozen blueberries. The juice can made into beverages or easily be made into syrup and used for toppings on ice cream and pastries. You can easily make juice from other fruit such as raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, apples, cherries as well as from blueberries.

Equipment needed is a steamer juicer

I use a 10 liter (about 10.5 quarts) Mehu-Liisa steamer juicer and food steamer made in Finland. I purchased mine from Lehman’s but they are available from other sources. The advantage of using this type of juicer is that it makes preparing juice as close to effortless as possible. You cannot believe how incredibly simple it is to extract gallons of juice. The Mehu-Liisa steamer juicer will make better juices without the usual hassle and mess! You may find that you actually enjoy the process of making juice rather than dreading it. It cuts labor down to a minimum. Words can’t express how great it works and how much time and work it saves compared to other methods of making juice. If you make jelly or syrup this is a must. No more peeling and chopping apples. No more pitting cherries. No more crushing berries. You literally throw the fruit in and in an hour you have juice.

Ingredients

  • Blueberries- Use 8 to 12 cups (2 to 3 quarts) of fresh or frozen blueberries or other berries or fruit of your choice.
  • Lemon juice- 2 tablespoons of either fresh squeezed or bottled lemon juice.
  • Sweeteners – It is possible to make low-sugar fruit juice using with stevia or splenda as the sweetener. For those with sugar diabetes you must avoid sugar as much as possible. Using stevia avoids adding sugar and is a healthy choice approved by FDA. There are no harmful side effects with stevia but there are with artificial commercial sweeteners. Stevia is a natural organic product that has been used for many years around the world as a natural safe sweetener. Of course fruit juice itself contains natural sugar so care must be exercised to avoid excessive sugar intake when drinking fruit juice.

the sweeteners that can be used if sweetened juice is desired

Type of juice sweetener

  • lower sugar 1 cup of Splenda
  • No sugar 24 packets of Stevia or 2 ½ tsp Clear Stevia Liquid
  • Natural 3 cups fresh or frozen concentrated fruit juice

Directions

Place fruits in the steamer. Layer fruits with sweetener if sweetened juice is desired. If using juice for jellies do not add sweetener.

Fill water kettle

Attach the drain tube with clip in place.

Fill water kettle up to the water level mark. Bring to a boil and set the steamer and juice kettle on top.

Mix lemon juice in the blueberries and prepare juice using the steamer juicer

Heat the blueberry lemon juice mixture in the steamer juicer. Steam the blueberries over continuously boiling water for 60 minutes or longer for hard fruits such as apples and pears. Do not let the pan of water run dry.

Bottle in sterilized bottles

Fill jars to the top to within an inch or less. Immediately put lids on the jars. Store jars upright in a cool dark place.

The recipe for the blueberry juice beverage

  • 1 cup blueberry juice freshly juiced
  • 1 2/3 cups of country Time lemonade
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar or 30 packets of stevia or 15 tsp liquid stevia

This will make 1 ¼ gallon of blueberry juice beverage.

Summary

Fruit juice is easy to make using a steamer juicer as discussed in this article.

Anaemia refers to condition where the body is deficient in iron content of the blood. Iron and protein are the two constituents of hemoglobin, and lack of iron rich diet leads to deficiency of hemoglobin and thereby, anaemia. Anaemic people witness weakness because lack of hemoglobin leads to improper circulation of oxygen to the various parts of body. Anaemia leads to many problems like, rapid heartbeat, indigestion, restlessness, insomnia and many more. Therefore, this situation must be overcome as soon as possible.

The best thing is that the cure and control of anaemia is not difficult and one can take care of it even at home. Jaundice – Symptoms, Causes and Treatment

Yellow, not a good color on most people, especially if it is your skin tone or the whites of your eyes. Jaundice [a common liver disorder] causes this discoloration of the skin due to an increase of bile pigments [biliruben] in the blood stream.

Symptoms

* Extreme fever

* Headaches

* Extreme weakness

* Loss of appetite

* Nausea

* Severe constipation

* Dull pain over the liver region

* Yellow discoloration of the eyes, tongue, skin and darkish yellow urine

* Intense itching [generally caused due to obstructive jaundice]

Causes

1) Obstruction in the bile ducts due to gallstones

2) Inflammation of the liver, known as hepatitis and caused by a virus

3) Haemolytic anemia

3) There are certain diseases, which could cause discoloration [jaundice] e.g. typhoid, malaria, yellow fever and tuberculosis.

Treatment and remedies

1) Tomatoes – considered a valuable and effective home remedy, drink a glass of pure tomato juice with a pinch of salt and pepper early every morning.

2) Lemon – 20ml of pure lemon juice mixed into a glass of water, taken several times a day, is also beneficial and will help in the protection of the damaged liver cells.

3) Barley water – boil 1 cup of barley in 3 liters of water for around three hours, take a glass of this mixture several times a day.

4) Bitter luffa – pound the bitter luffa [preferably green] in a muslin cloth and squeeze out the liquid, place the liquid in the palm of the hand and sniff it up through the nostrils, this is a very effective but nasty way to bring relief to the patient but has some side effects like dizziness, migraines and fever [especially in a delicate patient] so I would not recommend it but only because the thought of sniffing anything up my nose gives me the creeps. The liquid needed can also be obtained through dried luffa or luffa seeds if need be.

5) Leaves of snake gourd – prepare an infusion of 15gm dried leaves in 250ml of boiling water, while this is cooling you will need to make a coriander mixture. This is done by boiling a tablespoon of these seeds in 1/2 a liter of water until it is reduced to 1/3 of the original amount. Mix 30 to 50 ml of the snake gourd infusion with the same amount of the coriander liquid and give to the patient at least 3 times daily.

6) Green leaves of radish – pound these leaves in a soft muslin cloth and squeeze out the juice [you will need a fair amount of this juice], give the patient at least half a liter of this juice daily. This juice will assist in increasing the patient’s appetite and help evacuate the constipated bowel. An improvement [if not a cure] in the patient will be seen if this liquid is given to them for 8 or 10 days.

7) Glass of sugarcane juice, mixed with the juice of half a lime – taken at least twice a day can assist in the recovery, here I need to stipulate that the sugarcane juice needs to be clean, take care when squeezing this plant as there will be sand etc on the outside and this could infect the juice making the already weak patient even sicker.

8) Pigeon pea – extract the juice from these leaves [green] and give 60ml to the patient daily, a marked improvement will be noticed after a few days.

9) Mixture of almonds, dried dates and cardamoms – 2 dates, 5 cardamoms and eight almonds are needed, soak these in a bowl of water overnight. Remove the outer coat of the almonds and the pips from the dates and then make into a fine paste [some water may need to be drained before hand], mix in 50gms sugar and butter with this paste and let the patient lick the result off a spoon through-out the day.

10) Jaundice berry – a herb botanically known as Berberis vultaris, it is very good for people with jaundice, the bark needs to be pulverized and the extracted fluid given in 2 – 4ml doses a few time during the day.

Medical advice should be sought if you suspect there is a major underlying cause for the change in skin color. The liver is a vital organ and good care should be taken not to ignore any problems that may damage the said organ.

Juicing Recipes For Better Sex!

Certain foods contain nutrients that enhance male and female libido. This is particularly important in our era of male and female Viagra and other medications for sexual dysfunction. These prescriptions are quick, short-term fixes, but don’t get to the root of the problem, and they come at a cost – not only are they expensive, but they result in a growing list of serious side effects including memory loss, hearing impairment, and vision loss!

So forget the pills and start juicing for a healthy and natural boost to your sex drive and performance! Here’s a review of the foods that contain the highest concentration of sexually stimulating nutrients.

Enhancing Male Libido

Here are the fruits and vegetables that target male libido:

1. watermelon – high in citruline which stimulates nitric oxide production which increases blood flow which enhances male sexual performance.

2. blueberries – very high in antioxidants which clean the blood of free radicals and stimulate the production of nitric oxide.

3. cherries – high in flavonoids which cleanse free radicals from arteries which in turn relaxes them and improves blood flow which is key to male sexual performance.

4. ginger – only 1 teaspoon a couple times a week reaps huge benefits for reducing free radicals in the blood, decreasing inflammation, relaxing arteries and improving blood flow.

5. bananas – the high potassium content relaxes blood vessel walls and increases blood flow. They also counteract the ill effects on the libido of a high sodium diet. Remember not to put bananas in your juicer or you’ll clog it – blend it and then add to your juiced mix.

Any combination of these makes a great sexual stimulant a couple hours before sex. Try a glass daily to raise your testosterone level if you notice unusual fatigue or diminishing sexual performance. Try this recipe:

watermelon – with seeds but without the rind

10 cherries – without pits

thumb of fresh ginger – with the skin

Add 1 or more of these foods to your fresh juice for added benefits:

black tea – increases testosterone and used by Chinese medicine for centuries as a cure for erectile dysfunction.

whole milk – promotes testosterone production.

olive oil – stimulates testosterone production.

flaxseed oil – full of omega-3 which among other things stimulates nitric oxide.

nutmeg – contains a very high amount of myristic which stimulates the production of nitric oxide. A study in BMC Complimentary and Alternative medicine, found that nutmeg is a bona fide aphrodisiac, increasing libido and erectile function.

garlic – increases nitric oxide production – just a little bit will do!

walnuts – highest concentration of L-arginine, an amino acid and building block of nitric oxide. For best results cup a day is suggested.

pistachios – a handful a day increases nitric oxide production due to the high content of arginine.

almonds – a small handful a couple times a week is all you need to enhance nitric oxide production due to the high concentration of vitamin E, according to the British Journal of Urology International.

Enhancing Female Libido

These fruits and veggies stimulate the sexual drive and response for women.

1. celery – contains androsterone, a hormone that stimulates the sex drive for women.

2. carrots – high in vitamin A which stimulates the epithelial tissue throughout the body.

3. dark green veggies – high in zinc which increases libido.

4. pineapple – high in manganese which is central for production of vetrogen, a hormone that is key to female sexual response.

5. avocado – high concentration of folic acid which increases energy, drive, and stamina – note: place avocado (and banana) in a blender, not your juicer, or it will clog the appliance.

6. bananas – the high concentration of potassium and vitamin B boosts energy, and it’s high in bromelain enzymes which boost the sex drive.

Try this classic juice recipe a couple of hours before sex:

8 carrots – only half peeled

2 celery stalks

1 cup pineapple – without skin

Add these foods to your juice for added sexual stimulation:

dark chocolate – studies show that it contains phenylethylamine which stimulates the sex drive. It also improves blood vessel dilation by 10%.

clove – studies show that this is actually one of the very few true female aphrodisiacs, naturally increasing desire and performance.

figs – long used as an aphrodisiac in the middle east, figs contain high concentrations of amino acids that increase female libido and stamina.

eggs – one a day keeps the stress away! High in B vitamins, eggs are a great natural way to reduce stress in men and women which is the #1 cause of low libido.

ginseng – long used in Chinese medicine to increase female libido.

Foods That Decrease Libido In Men And Women

Avoid the following if you want a healthy sex life!

sugar – decreases the male sexual drive by effecting testosterone levels – a sugar spike can reduce testosterone by 25%.

trans fats – destroys cardiovascular health and sexual function in men and women.

canned foods – inside almost every can is a liner of BPA – men exposed to high levels of this have 4 times more reports of erectile dysfunction.

soy – estrogen-like properties in soy decrease male sexual drive by decreasing testosterone.

salt – high levels create male erectile dysfunction that can’t even be treated with ED medication!

alcohol – a glass or two reduces stress and inhibition which in turn stimulates sexual feelings, but more than that actually kills sexual performance in both men and women.

So start juicing today – the nutrients found in freshly juiced fruits and vegetables are not only good for you, they will help you have more fun, too!

Purify Your Body With Carrot Juice

Carrot juice is an extremely nutritious drink that actually tastes better than most people would expect, so what is it about juicing that makes it such a winner?

One of the biggest benefits of carrot juice is that is a great source of beta carotene, which the body uses to produce vitamin A. It is vital for our body to receive regular doses of vitamin everyday as having a deficiency in it can produce many negative side effects, ranging from as minor as having poor condition hair and skin to things more serious such as an increased risk of cancer.

Your body cannot produce these vitamins on its own and one of the benefits of juicing is that it is very easy to gain this nutrition by making the drinks with fresh fruits and vegetables. The reason vitamin A is so vital is that it is a very powerful antioxidant, which helps stop free radicals from damaging cells in your body. This helps you from the inside and out, you will feel healthier overall as well as notice an improved condition of your hair, skin and nails.

It’s as simple as taking an electric mixer, putting in the fruits/vegetables and producing your drink.Unlike buying pre-packaged juices, you get to choose exactly what goes into your drink and you can make a variety of drinks to suit your nutritional requirements. A popular carrot juice mix is mixing carrots with the juice of apples and beetroot, as they are also very good for your health, especially when taken on a regular basis.

Overall, remember to have a balanced diet for optimal health. Juicing can definitely give you a head start into great health with all of it’s nutritious benefits, but you also need to make sure you exercise properly and eat the right foods as much as possible. Mix up your juice recipes to try new combinations to get a variety of tastes and nutrition and most of all enjoy it!

Juicing Tips for Better Health

If better health is at the forefront of your mind, then you may want to consider juicing as an addition to your daily mealtime regimen. Juicing can be a way to get more fruits and vegetables into your body without having to spend time cooking them in the kitchen.

People become juicers for many reasons. Some like to use a juicing fast to cleanse their system and launch a better health diet. Others use juicing as a way to shed pounds. Many people just use juicers to start implementing better foods into their diets.

Cooking your foods often destroys many of the nutrients and enzymes found in your food that improves your health. By using a juicing machine, you keep all of those healthful benefits intact.

Juicing even helps you maintain the great tasting qualities of your fruits and vegetables, without you having to add sugars or fattening additions to the food to make it edible to your tastebuds.

The process also saves you money, because buying pre-made juice is often very expensive. And you can make a meal off of a juice mixture!

Picking the Right Juicer

Before you can start juicing, you have to have a machine to do the work for you. There are manual, cheap plastic versions you can buy, but it’s highly recommended that you invest a little more into your options, because those will take you forever to get a small trickle of juice into your cup.

Juicers typically come in three main versions. There are manual juicers, like the one I described above that require a lot of work and arm strength in some cases, not to mention ample amount of time to extract the juice from your fruits and vegetables.

Some of the manual juicers are very lightweight, so you can’t put too much pressure on them. This means you won’t get to create larger batches of juice – you’ll have to stick to small quantities.

Instead of a manual juicer, you can consider buying a masticating or centrifugal juicer. Masticating juicers actually chew up the pulp, making it easier to extract the juice from the fruit or vegetables.

These are single gear juicers, and they work slowly. Some people enjoy the slow juice creation because whenever speed is involved, it means heat is typically a factor – and heat destroys some of the nutrients found in the fruits and vegetables.

The masticating juicers are quieter than the centrifugal juicers, due to their low speed, but many people prefer the centrifugal juicer to the other options. These juicers shred the fruits or vegetables and then spin and strain it, so you get more juice and less pulp.

These are high-speed machines, so the noise level might be a bit higher. However, the speed is faster, so the process is complete in less time, making noise less of an issue. If you get one of these machines, you’ll remove the pulp periodically if you’re making large batches of juice to store for future consumption.

Each type of juicer will have different results when it comes to the volume of juice it can put out. On average, juicers can turn one pound of fruits or vegetables into a standard, 8-ounce cup of juice, but this depends on the product you pick and the power of the juicer, too.

Choosing Perfect Juicing Foods

If you want to feel better and take better care of your body, then your juicing foods should be tailored toward that goal, because some foods are better for you (even in juice form) than others are.

You’ll need to look at your own health requirements and decide which recipes to use for your juicing. For instance, you might be diabetic and need to lower your intake of sugar. Or you might be anemic and need a raise in your iron levels.

For basic health, always think green. Look for foods that are in the vegetable family over the fruit family because you’ll get more health benefits for your body. Fruit has a lot of nature’s own blend of sugar and it can pack a health punch by raising your glucose rapidly.

But keep in mind that just because a food is a vegetable, that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have some sugar in it and some vegetables do contain more sugar despite the fact that they’re good for you.

Even though they contain beta-carotene that helps lower cancer risks, carrots are an example of vegetables that have a higher sugar count than other vegetables, such as cucumbers.

While green vegetables are very good for you, their juice can be difficult to swallow if you’re new to juicing. You’re going to want good recipes for these and then start slowly introducing them to your juicing routine.

You might have read that the minute you make any juice at home, you should go ahead and drink it. The reason behind this advice is because when fruits and vegetables are cut, they start to lose some of the nutritional punch that they pack.

Since the whole purpose behind juicing is a healthier way of eating for your body, you want to take full advantage of everything that these foods offer you, so enjoy them right after you finish juicing them whenever possible.

Because juicing requires time (and because that’s not a commodity you might have a lot of), you want to take steps to eliminate any part of the process that’s a time drain. Waiting until the last minute to gather your foods, get it sliced and diced and then juice it can take more time than you want it to take.

If you have to get up early and get your day going, the last thing you want to do is stand sleepy eyed in the kitchen chopping up food. To cut out this step, get everything ready before you need it. Scrub any residue from the soil from your vegetables, wash your fruit and get out the cutting board. Dice the foods up and it’ll be handy when you’re ready to go.

Remember that if you’re planning to use certain fruits like apples, they might turn brown if they’re cut and you don’t use them the minute you cut them up. They’re still okay to use, they’re just not as visually appealing.

Using your juicer for homemade juice is a nice treat, but unlike the less healthy store bought kind, you might end up with pulp in your glass. That’s not a problem unless you absolutely can’t stand to have pulp in your juice.

Pulp is actually good for you, but if you don’t like it, you don’t have to put up with having it in your glass. You can use a mesh strainer – but if your juicer has made the pulp fine, some of it’s still going to get through.

To make sure that the pulp is cut completely out, some people take an extra step of using a cloth material just for straining that catches every little bit of the pulp. This might be a good idea if you have kids who are picky about pulp and complain if the texture isn’t just right. And the softer your choice in fruits and vegetables, the thicker the juice will be.

Fruits make great tasting juice and you can experiment on your own to create a blend of fruit juices to delight your tastebuds. Plus, many fruits offer additional health benefits by giving you antioxidants.

Look for fruits that are berries like strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Also use cherries, apples and plums to give your body that additional health boost.

Finding Delicious Juicing Recipes

Everything that grows doesn’t belong in a juicer. It might seem like a good idea at the time, but will end up tasting horrid. Juicing isn’t the time to unleash your inner food artist if you aren’t familiar with what foods will taste good together.

You can buy a juicer recipe book (highly recommended) but you can also use the trial and error method. You’ll know what tastes good and which mixtures are mistakes. But since mistakes can be costly, use the following tips to create delicious tasting concoctions.

If you don’t like apples, then juicing isn’t suddenly the time to decide that you’ll like them in a juice. You want to start out by sticking with what you already know that you like. You can broaden your juicing horizons later.

And if you know you want the health benefits of apples, then you might try working it into a recipe where another fruit or vegetable taste overpowers it. So you still get the health rewards, without having to drink what tastes like straight apple juice.

If you’re going to make vegetable juices, leave off the more potent tasting ones until you’re prepared for the stronger flavor. Remember that you can mix your vegetables in the juicer with ice cubes, water and a small slice of fruit to give it a better taste.

We all have a tendency to be creatures of habit. We do this even when we’re trying to eat healthier – we’ll just keep on choosing the same healthy foods we’ve always eaten, but that can keep you locked on a certain food source and you’ll miss the wonder of trying new combinations if you juice with the same foods you’ve always used.

Don’t be afraid to make subtle changes. Many recipes advocate sticking with straight vegetable juice or straight fruit juice, but if you do that, you’ll miss out on some tasty concoctions.

Adding a little bit of water can help lessen the strength and thickness of fruits that are too thick as a juice for you to enjoy swallowing. If you do add water, measure it carefully so that you don’t overdo it.

Whatever recipe you use, keep in mind that there is what’s known as a “half rule.” For every pound of raw vegetables that you use, you’re only going to get about half of that in juice value.

Storing Your Juice Concoctions

For the best nutrients and the best taste, use whatever you create in the juicer right away. But considering how busy people are, quick consumption is not always an ideal solution. So if you can’t always drink the juice immediately, you should know a few tips on how to keep the liquid in a container that locks in freshness and as many health benefits as possible.

Foods change because of the process known as oxidizing. When enzymes in foods mix with oxygen, they turn brown. You can alter this process by storing the foods you’ve cut or chopped in water. This cuts off the full access to oxygen supply the foods would get out of the water.

Once the juice is made, keep it as fresh as possible by putting it into a container that you can’t see light through. This will prevent the juice from acquiring any exposure damage that it would get in a clear container.

For the best possible storage for your juice, keep it in something made of glass. One of the handiest solutions is to use brown tinted canning jars. Glass is much better than plastic for storing juices. If you need to, use tin foil or another dark paper to wrap the glass container in to keep out light.

Containers that let air in are bad news for storing juices so choose containers that keep the air out.

You can keep juices with a higher acidic level longer than juices with a lower acid count, but you shouldn’t go longer than a day and not use up the juice that you’ve made.

Cleaning and Caring for Your Juicer

Like any kitchen appliance, taking proper care of your juicer will help ensure that your machine creates great tasting juices and lasts a long time. The best juicers can be expensive, and you want to lengthen the longevity of your appliance.

Always read the instruction manual if this is the first time you’ve cleaned your juicer, since there’s a lot of variety among the different brands and models. Some require more work than others.

For optimal performance, you want to clean your juicer each time that you use it. This isn’t the kind of appliance you can get lazy with, because juice in general is a sticky mess if left out to harden.

The first step is to get all of the pulp out. If your juicer has a built in pulp container, you can clean that out, but you want to make sure that you check for pulp that may have escaped the container.

Take apart the removable parts and run them under water to rinse them free of any food debris. You can put the dishwasher safe pieces in the top of the dishwasher if you don’t want to hand wash them, but if you do, double check after the dishwasher cycle is complete to make sure it cleaned all of the crevices.

Gently wipe down any electric or motor parts to get rid of any residue or splash, but don’t expose these by submerging them in water.

Clean the blades with a soft brush to make sure that nothing is compromising the blades, but take caution when doing this step because it can be easy to cut your fingers if you’re not careful. Don’t put the pieces of this appliance together if any of them are wet or damp. Once you’ve done all these steps, your juicer is ready to use again!
